    This sling adapter is as pictured. But the head of the mounting screw is not recessed. Problem is the threads protrude about 3/16″ on the opposite side. I’m not gonna’ return it because it’s just too much trouble on a relatively inexpensive item.

    If the mounting screw were about 3/16″ shorter, the adapter would be usable without danger of cutting or scratching your hand.
