I got mine a week ago and haven’t had much luck with it. I just put in my third set of lithium batteries. When I turn it on, it just shoots pictures or videos until the card is full which uses up the batteries. The 2 gb card holds 2500 photos at 3 mp and 57 ten second video clips BTW. I put it in a dark room with nothing moving and it does the same thing so I know it’s not from the wind blowing. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if it is malfunctioning right out of the box. If I can’t get it to work right I think I’ll send the piece of junk back for a refund.

I just recieved my Bushnell Trophy Cam in the mail yesterday and got it all set up. I takes OK videos (nothing like on the Bushnell website) but wont take a picture. I’ve tried everything and know its not just user error. I have wanted a trail camera for years now but have been hesitant to buy one because every 3rd or 4th review (all brands) the camera didnt work from the start. Looks like I got one of those bad ones. The quality control on these things must be horrible. I’ll be sending it back soon and have to deal with the infamous customer support.

I had terrible experiences with two Bushnell trail sentry cameras and was sent this one as a replacement. It worked well for several weeks, but then just stopped taking pictures. Right now when I go to the setting mode, I just get a dim blue light. Don’t know what customer service will say this time, as I have never been able to get through due to incredibly long waits “due to high volume of demand.” Based on my experiences, I can understand why there would be a lot of calls to the service department . . .

The first thing you notice is the size, the camera is very small compared to other game cameras. When I first got the camera I said, how is this little thing gonna perform. Well, I was very surpised, it perfromed very well. The trigger speed is 1.5 seconds day and night,ir flash is good till 45 ft. and the pir sensor will pick up any movement up to 45 ft.Picture quality is good during the day and the night shots are OK. I like that it takes aa batteries and sd cards, you can buy them anywhere.I can’t comment on video mode, because I have not tried that feature yet.The camera is very easy to set up, the only thing that you have to remember is to press ok after you change any of the settings. The mounting strap that comes with the camera is not good, I would recommend that you use some other type of strap. Overall I would recommend this camera.
