Great range holster for the Glock 17, well made and adjustable. Don’t buy this for use with a Glock 26, no adjustment will make it easy to remove from the holster.

The holster is very comfortable and I am very happy with its low profile. I did have one problem with it, however. When drawing my gun out of the holster, the knuckle of my middle finger was rubbing the holster where it wraps around the pistol to establish my shooting grip. I had to use my Dremel tool to grind it down a little to keep it from rubbing a sore every time I train. I get together with friends once per month and get tactical training. We shoot a lot, so this modification was absolutely necessary. Other than having to make this modification, I love it.

Given the price of this holster I don’t feel it can be beat! I have had custom holsters and shoulder rigs over the years – fine custom made leather – I love them! But the price for those are 4x or more! If money is not an object, then you might consider other brands as well. I was able to buy the Fobus E2 Evolution Paddle holster and a Fobus two mag paddle pouch for under $50.00! Not bad!
I was at first skeptical of the stability and retention of these holsters but after using two of them those are non-issues. I have had two now; the first was for my HK USP full size .45ACP – and even the large scale of that frame works nicely with this holster; quite a feat! The other is for a Glock 19 and it is a perfect combination. I wanted a thumb break scabbard like a DeSantis but was advised that the appendages of the straps create a possible snag issue for Glock triggers (in spite of the three safety mechanisms) so I went with no thumb break for my Glock.
There are other really nice paddle holsters out there like Safariland but they cost twice as much and then some. I’m familiar with virtually all the other fancy and exotic materials being used for these types of holsters by other companies and I have yet to encounter any negative aspects regarding these Fobus polymer holsters that would make them any less desirable. They hold the weapon very secure and close to the body and very comfortably while they’re at it! Remember, no matter how thin your holster is, it still must be as thick as your gun. Considering the cost benefit ratio of the Fobus I feel the choice is obvious.
Also if you’re not familiar with paddle holsters and you enjoy wearing your weapon on the hip you owe it to yourself to check them out. One of the great benefits is how easily they can be put on and taken off – no belts loops to deal with. It also has a retention screw so you can set it to that which suits you. Just make sure that when you put the holster on your belt it is securely seated in the detent which holds it in place against your belt. They claim you don’t even need a belt to use it but in my experience I disagree – it gets too sloppy otherwise. Moreover, it is one of the fastest drawing holsters I’ve ever used. The last thing I’d like to mention is that I’m personally not keen on the ‘rotary’ version – this is a choice you’ll have to make for yourself but be sure you’re not accidentally buying one of those if you’re expecting a standard Fobus E2 Evolution Paddle Holster.
shoot safe,
best
