This is another of the many Amazon sellers that won’t ship to Alaska. We’ve been in the union for fifty years now! Priority Mail works real well. UPS, FedEx, etc. all come here, in their own airplanes even, and without falling off the edge of the Earth. The price is obscene, but we’re used to subsidizing the Lower 48.

THE PRODUCT WAS EASY TO INSTALL AND WORKS BEAUTIFULLY. I WOULD NOT SAY IT SUPRESSES 80% OF THE RECOIL, BUT YOU CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. IT LOOKS GREAT AND THE ADJUSTABILITY IS GREAT. I NEVER KNEW HOW MANY PEOPLE USED IT. I NOW SEE THEM IN LOTS OF COMMERCIALS AND POLICE SHOWS.

I am really happy with this purchase. I can finally enjoy a day at the range shooting my 12 gauge Remington 870 Police Magnum with no more pain in the shoulder at the end of the day. This stock is a bit pricey but I have to say that IMO it is worth it. There is nothing else like it on the market other than a stock from Mesa Tactical but you have to purchase a second component in order to get the same shock absorbing benefits of the Knoxx stock and at twice the cost!!! Installation was a breeze and it is rock solid. The expanding stock allows adjusting the length to accomodate different shooters. I would purchase a Knoxx SpecOps stock again if I ever have the need to.
Just a word of caution, I almost made the mistake of ordering the wrong Knoxx stock because it was cheaper. Knoxx offers a tactical stock that looks identical to this one but it does not have the shock absorbing capability of this stock.
If you care to tame the recoil effects on your body from your 12 gauge shotgun, this stock is for you!

I thought it was a tad pricey when first ordering. Now that I’ve rec’d it, I couldn’t be happier. The quality is excellent and there are two things I didn’t realize.
1) The dual recoil suppression built into the stock definitely supports a higher price target. There are two recoil springs in the stock. One is in the handle and it allows the action to slide back about a half-inch there over the handle. You can sorta tell from the picture where it would slide. The other is located in the stock itself and absorbs about another half-inch or so. So you get about an inch worth of spring action recoil reduction in addition to the gushy rubber pad on the stock itself.
2) I was delighted to see the package also included a matching fore-end piece. The fore-end is pre-tapped for another pistol grip if you want to convert it to a two-handled tactical gun.
Installation on my Rem 870 was simple (you can look at my customer images above).

I’m extremely pleased with the Knoxx Spec-Ops (recoil reducing) stock that I bought for my Mossberg. I’m a little up in years and this stock allows me to practice again with my defensive shotgun, instead of just ‘parking it’ for an emergency.
It comes with a long ball-end hex wrench that is helpful in installing the stock, but you’ll need a ratchet wrench with a six or eight inch extension to remove the nut inside the factory stock that you’re probably replacing.
Once I had the right tools, the removal of the old stock and install of the new one took under five minutes.
