I just received my quad rail in the mail and it did not come with directions of any kind. I would have loved to know how to install it since I am very new to AR15 rifles. Also, when I was doing some shopping for a quad rail, most of them had users commenting on how they liked the rail covers that came with their quad rail to protect their hands. This one, however, does not come with any covers for the rails. You will end up spending an extra ten dollars at least to buy rail covers if you desire them.

Once I figured out that this rail is put on opposite of the stock hand guard, it turned out great. The choke point on this one is on the bottom instead of the top like the one you’ll take off of your factory AR. It is solid and it fits extremely tight on your gun. For me it was about 1/4 inch longer than the factory one so there was just enough room for it. I now have my Tac light and foregrip/bipod on it and it looks sweet.

Great 2-peice rail. Little heavy but good quality, did notice the crosspin grooves are not quite as deep as a stock ar15 rail, which will keep some of the deeper attachments from securing solidly unless very tight, but who puts sights and such on a carbine 2-peice rail anyway. Perfect for flashlights, slings, etc. Looks very nice, and the machining is very fine. The 4 rails are removable and interchangable, with one having quick disconnect sling mount, another with a 5/16-24 threaded hole at each end.

A tad on the heavy side, but sturdy and rock solid. Given the weight, still worth well more than what you’re paying for, in my opinion (a lotta machining for 50 bucks). Sure you could buy a slightly fancier foregaurd at 3/4/5 times the money that’ll be ounces lighter and maybe look a little cooler…but those are an expensive couple of ounces. Installed and torqued properly, this forearm probably wouldnt move if you tried.
