   I purchased this knife a few weeks ago through amazon’s marketplace, which connected me to securityprousa.com, who shipped the item promptly. Only one problem: insteand of getting a state-of-the-art D2 knife with a superior grind, I received a cheap 1095 knife that could have just as easily been procured through cold steel for 25-60. Make sure the knife bears the D2 and randall’s training insignia on the blade. To the knives’ credit, I did like the handle and thickness, plus the sheath wasn’t horrible. And to the shipper’s credit, they offered to have the item shipped back at their expense, although they did insist that what I had in my possession was the real d2 knife. (I had to call Ontario directly to confirm my suspicions)

   Get a Kershaw Outcast if you want rambo-sized chopping power, or get a fallkniven s1 or wilderness knife if you want extreme precision and unsurpasssed quality. Skip this overpriced slab.
