I just got my knife today so I haven’t exactly gotten to test it fully, But the knife seem to be really high quality. The knife comes with an okay sheath that has attachments to fit Molle gear which is kinda handy. In the sheath there’s a nice little Velcro pocket which holds the sharpening stone. The sharpening is an okay sharpening stone it would do in a pinch if you didn’t have any thing else with you like in a survival situation. One of my favorite parts about the knife is the handles rubber grip it seems to be really sturdy and “just feels right in your hand”. Also the knife is full tang, but sadly I save the worst for last…the knife’s guard is plastic. It doesn’t seem to be low quality plastic but still its plastic. This is the only thing that I found about the knife I did not like but for twenty-five dollars it’s worth it. Get this knife trust me for the money you will NOT be disappointed!

Knife looks great. I like that both side of the blade have an edge. It’s just too bad it isn’t very sharp out of the box. I might try sharpening later with the sharpener.

Very good quality, including the sheath. have not tried the sharpener yet, but I replaced it with a survival fire starter.

This is a seriously great knife for the money. Like others have said, the knife is well put together. Full-tang blade, decent edge (diamond sharpener, here I come), decent handle material. Feels solid in the hand.
Handle feels pretty good, not quite something that’d hold up in a hurricane but grippy enough. Metal butt cap is pretty solid, evens out the balance overall and it’d be good for a little slamming if need be.
Slight mixup: the picture above is actually the CKSUR2; the CKSUR1 is listed on Amazon as the CKSUR2. So if you order the knife on this page, you will receive a curved knife with “CKSUR1″ on the blade. Check other websites to see the difference, but this one serves as well as the other. Check other knife websites to verify.
One thing I liked, was that on that on this model the first two inches of the blade’s back edge is sharpened. It’s dull, but it’s enough to split slivers off a branch for kindling or do some utility chopping without dulling the primary edge.
Like others have said, the sheath is a shining light here. Metal inserts indicate a long lifespan, strap loops on either side at the bottom, and a D-ring allow for several carry options: belt carry, lashed on a pack, dropped-leg position with a little modification, etc. The back of the sheath also appears to have MOLLE straps as well, but I’ve never used MOLLE so I’m not 100% on that. Looks right though.
Only cons: no lanyard hole and no molded finger grips. But that’s not enough to detract from the high value-to-price ratio here.
