This thing looks cool and has lots of convenient pockets in the right places. It’s thick enough to wear over a t-shirt as a lightweight jacket, too, so calling it a “shirt” isn’t quite right; it’s both!

Great all-around camo pattern. Worked well for bustin’ coyotes over a variety of terrain in Arizona’s high desert.

I strongly discourage anyone from buying anything ACU. The pattern is designed to fit 3 environments. Urban, woodland, and desert. So its kind of a catch all camo. And while it works ok all around it is not the best camo for your money depending on what you desire the camo for. If youre wanting camo for woodland then go with MARPAT or multicam. You can buy MARPAT digital camo for about $25 for each top and bottom. So, yes this product is quite overpriced. I wear the ACU everday for the army and I pretty much hate this uniform. THe cut is nice, it makes you look really cool. However, on the practicallity side of thigs its a bad camo. Thats why the Army is already planning on getting rid of it. All the of velcro (hook and loop tape) is annoying. You stick to yourself and getting anything out ofyour pockets will cause quite a bit of noise. It also wears out and then you have pockets that hang open and items can fall out. I will say that the ACU does help break the wind and can keep you relatively warm on mild days. Truth be told this is a subpar camo when compared to the styles that the Marines wear. Ask anyone who has worn this thing for an extended period of time. A good website is [...] they have lots of stuff there for pretty cheap. Including uniforms.
