I have a JG M4, and wanted to use this to replace the hideous front sight. Luckily before I wrestled the front sight off, I tried to get the gas block part way down the barrel. It wouldn’t go. Other than it not fitting, it seems to be solidly constructed.

I read some poor reviews for this item on other web sites “After” I purchased this from Amazon. This is a decent gas block for the price but there should be more information in the product discription. It will fit on barrels that are .750″ diameter where the gas block mounts. Please note, the location of the gas port in the barrel, in relation to the gas port in the gas block, must be checked prior to intallation as there is a possibility that the 2 might not line up sufficiently and may will hinder proper gas pressure for cycling. I would recommend having a competent gun smith install this if you are not comfortable working on the type of rifle this fits on.

  3. High Quality (of course, it’s UTG/Leapers) and it’s great if you want to remove your front sight. I’m not sure if javascript/html/whatever that code is called works here, so i’ll just post a link to a picture of mine:
